In my roles, currently as a Consultant and in the past as a Program Director, I have been called a synergistic synthesizer, an organizational cheerleader and an expert communicator.
What I do best is integrate all the pieces of a program, a project, or an idea to make a whole that is much more than the sum of its parts. I am a team builder, a team player, a team leader, and grounded visionary.
I am graced at being able to envision the big picture of any endeavor and break it down into doable steps to accomplish the desired result. I am adept at conveying the vision, the master plan, and the steps to others.
My greatest skill in communication is helping people to clarify and feel comfortable with their story; contact their own passion for the presentation; and solidify the end goal - be it a sales pitch to a potential client or presenting at a seminar. I work with the presenter to translate a story into a series of visual landmarks that will guide your audience along the intended storyline to the final destination.
I have been a Program Director & Manager in large companies (Seagate Technology & Ball Corporation), government (Cities of Denver & Boulder, Colorado), and non-profit organizations (Northwest Folklife Festival & Denver Botanic Garden). I have owned three companies and I have been an Executive Director of two small non-profits.
